Questions

[Parasaurolophus]

I have Java moss and Java fern in a 60 litre not cycled tank, inside the filter is a carbon and zeolite cartridge thing the light is 15W

Why is this and a couple of other java fern leaves going dark green on the ends?
it seems the ones that are going dark green are the ones closest to the filter flow.

On the moss I noticed these to, are these new shoots?
they've appeared today.

Also some brown blotches are on one of the smaller java fern leaves is this a bad sign?

I always find the tips of new leaves on my java ferns the same, not totally sure why but they seem to sort themselves out when they get fully grown. And yep, new growth on your moss

I bought some argentine swords a month ago, this pic was from a month ago.

oh and yes there is a dead locust in there I put it in there so it could add nutrients to the water and help the plants a little.Yes I am dumb.

Mine went brown for awhile but my snails have eaten the brown stuff up no idea what it was, I used to kill the snails thinking they were gonna eat the plants but they just eat the dirt thats on the leaves so I leave them now maybe you could try snails?
I have no idea what species mine are.....

My tank has both Malaysian Tuumpet Snails and those cheap Pest Snails but they dont do nothing
