Questions With Pics

post some pictures and let people give you information on them. they are housed by them selves in a 10 gal. i will turn the temprature up now. thanks for that. is there anythin elce i need to know

is the tank 10 us or 10 uk gallons? because IMHO 10 US gallons is too small for rams even 10UK gallons is too small IMO.

and feed them a varied diet such as;
tuna
bloodworms
daphnia
small amounts of cooked beef
prawns
pellets

will get some pics and post them on a different post, sorry to interupt again

no uk gallons it is. how could it be too small if they are the only fish in there they only grow to about 3 inches. can anyone tell from the new pics if they are male and female.
thanks. any other tips are welcome temp is at 28.c now. thanks again

hopefully these pics will help with sexing

yes i understand that but wigfth them being the only 2 fish in there i cant see them having a problem in finsing territory. can you see my point. what is a suitable tank size from your perspective for a pair of rams
thanks and anyone got any ideas on my rams yet lol

you can feed them tuna? tuna out the the tin from a supermarket, for example tuna in spring water?

does it have to be tuna in brine? i would have thought spring water would be better for them or would it not make a difference

i am certain they are male and female now been doing research and they meet all the characteristics which divides them from eachothers sex. anyway the male will not leave the female alone he just keeps following her. its like a chase but not fast its just like normal pace. he follows her then his colours become intense and then he tries to sort of i dont know he just tries to jolt to her but she isnt having any of it haha. is this normal behaviour. is it breeding behaviour or just 2 fish being idiots haha
thanks

just looked behind me now and the chasing is far more faster now. definatly male and female as on the females dark spot there are blue scales visable over it but with the male it is just black.

the female spends most of her time hiding in the top corner above the pump i think she is stressed. what should i do
