you can get your tank made from places but im in the uk so i cant say what sites
my lfs drilled my tank for me or you can drill it you self.

you could use an overflow box
or a overflow syphon which means
no drilling

Would it matter if the tank is glass or acrylic?

I have read alot about Diatoms, how long would they last in a new tank? Is it dependable on corals, CUC, and fish species or a cycle every tank goes through?
