when it comes to live plants, I know little to nothing lol.

I would like to add some fairly sturdy live plants into my 72 gallon African Clawed Frog tank - - need to be sturdy to resist the frogs kicking and play...

so far I have only had luck with the so called Banana Plants and having water wisteria, but leaving it floating.

I rather like the look of the giant vals and spiral vals - - was wondering if they are sturdy and what kind of setup do the need because I would like to keep it low maintenance

I have fairly powerful lighting - - my mother used it on her 90 gal saltwater tank (its white lights, not the uv) and I have no problems growing algae ...I would prefer something prettier growing in the tank however!

I have two kinds of vallis in my tanks; a huge broad leafed one that grows to about 6 feet long and a smaller, narrower leafed one and they do fine with my two T8s and no ferts or special substrate.
