I went to my LFS that I hate and asked him if he will be selling corals. He asked if I had the correct coral keeping bulb and I said yes. I have a Coralife 24" Actinic 03 Blue. He told me that wouldn't even to come close to what I need and the bulbs runs at about $800. Luckily, he had one on hand ;) but didn't show it to me.

I think this is a bunch of.....well you know. Is he BSing me or is this the truth?

Thanks in advance!

$800 for a light is BS unless its led or a big halide, but just actinic lights wont do you any good

bloody hell, thats expensive, hes prolly talking BS you should be like, so could you explain why my corals need this light bulb. He will prolly say "erm.. coz i said so" or "coz they need light init"

lol thats funny, i dont even know if theres such thing as a bulb that expensive....

thats not a bulb though, thats a fixture. Wait until the aquaillumination comes out, then the solaris will be put down so badly....

you cant replace the bulbs tho so its the same as changeing the bulb, just once every 10 years or so

Heh, back on track here though, $800 for lights for a nano tank would be generally considered a ripoff ;).
