I live in Arizona and have a small 1 bedroom apartment that faces the setting sun. When the sun starts to set, it gets really hot in my apt. My tank normally ranges between 74-76 but today it's 80 due to the fact that it's getting warmer. I know once summer rolls around that this is going to be a day to day worry, so how can I keep the temp in a safe range?

The best way to cool a tank is to have some small soda/pop bottles, half filled with water, kept in your freezer. Pop one or two of those in your tank if you think the temp is getting to high for your fish :good:
