Question About My Fishless Cycling

Sarah, you have to be patient. Mine has roughly been cycling since Sataday with very little change but there has been some change in tank stats. My tank is cloudy now alittle too, which means bacteria is feasting. Yum!

If you can cycle 4ppm ammonia in 12 hours and you tested withint 12 hours your ammonia has gone to 0ppm then your sorted.

im afraid your wrong , it has to go down to 0 ammonia and 0 nitrite in 12 hours or about that .

in my post i mean that nitrate is processing now in about 12 hours .

ammonia has been processing in 12 hours for about a couple of weeks now

huh? how am I wrong? that is what I said exactly what you said about the ammonia. How can nitrate be processing? There is nothing to process nitrate unless you have plants in there? or your doing a water change?

I knew what you ment, no offence taken. Gotto watch the nitrIte, nitrAte spellings. nitrIte is the harmful stuff, but nitrAte is fine. Yes, I ment nitrIte too. :good:
