Question About Cichlid Tank Mates!

We have a fish tank at work with a couple of zebra danios, one angel fish quiet large, and a common plec. the tank is 3 foot by about 2ft.
I went to work today and noticed that 3 4inch cichlids have appeared in the tank! my boss has no idea who put them in there but alot of people could of given them. I have no idea what cichlids these are, they are grey coloured with red chest area.
now im no expert but im guessing that they shouldnt be in this tank? am i right or wrong?

Probably a firemouth cichlid - Thorichthys Meeki?
they are agressive little buggers and yes, will eat smaller fish. Youd be looking to keep them with other medium sized robusts cichlids.

Hiya ive just looked up a picture of that cichlid and its deffinately one of those. I told my boss that today and she seemed worried and is going to find out who put them in there! id like to know as well as they obviously have no idea about how cichlids should be kept!

Lol yea thats what i thought! theres also a couple of other small fish, i think they are tetras. i dont really know much about smaller fish so have no idea.
