I had 2 mollys drop fry on the 28th and 31st May so they are getting on for a month old and getting nearer the femaes next drops.
There are currently 12 fry in a 14 litre tank on their own and 10 in a hatchery in my main tank. How soom can I release these 10 in with the other fissh? Tnhey will be in with swordies, 2 juvenile mollies (found these 2 27th April), breeding mollies, 6 cardinal tetras, 4 male guppies and an ancistrus. They are getting on for 1cm in length, and as I've got this far I'd hate to lose them now, they're growing so well and are totally adorable!
I will soon need the hatcheries again - we have 2 in the house but 1 in use, and by the way 1 of the mums is looking the 2nd one will be her short term home in the none too distant!
There is 1 smaller fry in the hatchery - I would house this one in there a bit longer or put it into the 14 litre tank with the others if needed, looks to be a bit of a runt but is doing just fine
Good things come in small packages n all of that!
TIA!
Kirsty
