Fishless cycling and low nitrite!

I did about 40 percent water change because I didnt have bigger buckets. i think i will move my fish in like three days. Should I give the tank a “snack” dose ammonia one more time and do a bigger water change before I move in my fish?

Some people would say yes, but I wouldn't I don't think. Water change can never hurt though.
