Putting a Betta to bed…

A comment from @Avel1896 in the thread, ”Anyone else..?” Has me wondering how you put a Betta to bed..

I‘d loved to teach Blue to go to bed (I haven’t managed to see where he sleeps since I’ve had him) how do you do this..? And what sort of bed..? I’ve seem little plastic ‘cups’ that are attached to the side of the tank… but how is he to know that’s his bed..?

use a torch (flashlight for the Americans)

And what sort of bed..?

real plants like Water Sprite, that float.
plastic or silk plants with suction cups
plastic barrel with a suction cup so it can be kept near the surface.

yep that would probably help- it is quite dark once I’ve put the lights out
