Put Cabbage In Tank For Snail But It Stinks! Is It Safe?

I have an apple snail in my tank and popped a bit of cooked cabbage in for him. I opened the lid and it stinks of cabbage water. Is this ok for my fishies?

Yeah its the release of sulphur compounds (most of the brassica family have them).

I would remove the cabbage, and perhaps do a 10% water change (just to help remove the smell).

but no, it won't do any harm.
