Hey,
Can a Koralia Water Circulation Pump work with a waver maker system? I can't seem to find anywhere thats says it can't. Also, I was wondering if anyone had experience with the Maxi-Jet Natural Wavemaker System. That wave maker was the one I was thinking about using. Seems decent and doesn't break the bank either.
Thanks!

if you want koralia wave makers, you need to buy the 12 volt koralia and the controller

think he wants to use koralias and a wave maker.

If you do this then you need to make sure the pumps remain under the water level at all times. Careful you dont end up with a wet floor/

Yeah you need to use the 12v ones with a controller. I dont think the normal ones do very well on a wavemaker. If you are looking for a cheap system you could use modded maxijet pumps on a wavemaker timer.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'm gonna go with the cheap maxxi jet. It works just about the same right? And from Dr. Smith and Fosters they offer a couple deals for it. Should I get the wave maker and three 106 gph, 3 160 gph, 3 230gph, or 3 295 gph pumps for my 55 gallon reef?

The maxijets arent as good IMO as the likes of tunze and korillia's. They have more direct flow rather than the good indirect kind of flow from the more expensive ones. However they are a LOT cheaper :) I also know people that have used maxijets in marine tanks for years and not had any issues.

I would go for the biggest ones which will give you roughly X18 turn over.
