If you get 3 wpg and up, why not! How's the MH, btw? Do they get too hot?

kl thanks for tht i have also got a 30watt t8 as the front of the tank so tht bumps me up to 3.4 WPG ::

yh the halides do get quite hot but no were near as hot my my 150's got

That looks really cool, I like the central bogwood with all the java fern over it, like a tropical island surrounded by white saney beaches
