This tank is my 20 Gallon SAP tank, it's currently got a Colomesus Asellus (South American Puffer), 2 Ottos (I plan to increase the number to 6), and 2 Catfish that were labelled as South American Bumblebee Cats, but I have a feeling after they're ID'd they might be some thing else
The idea behind the tank was basically to make it look bigger than a 20 gallon, contain no driftwood, and look natural. I wanted to fill it with only south american fish, and to be able to have a set of interesting species.
The plants I used were Java Moss, (what I think is) Christmas Moss, An amazon sword, and a lot of Vallis. Lighting is a single Juwel 15w tube, and a 15w aquaglow I added myself.
Substrate is plain sand, and the rocks were donated to me by a friend, She think's they're "tuffa rock", as she got them in part of a deal on another tank.
Whole tank picture. I'll apologise for the quality here, I'm by no means a decent photographer, or using a decent camera!
Archimedes, begging for attention after being unwell.
An out of focus otto, and the rocks.
The ottos eating on the Amazon Sword, which was tiny, and has grown in under a couple of months.
These pics aren't as great as my usual ones, but I thought I'd post some showing my tank rather than my fish for once.
In future I want a black tank backing (I got some black book covering paper to try and cover it with, but it didn't work on my other tank, so I didn't fancy trying it on this one), and when the time comes, I'll upgrade the filter to an external.
Thanks for looking!
