Promises That Bite Back

nearly 2 years ago I bought a 125L Juwel Rio tank which came with a series of fish including a silver shark. it was relatively small at 4 inches and my daughter adhored it. Typically named Jaws she introduced everyone to it when them came to visit. I made the decision to get rid before it got too big and gave it to a cousing with a 6.5ft tank and suffice to say she went mental.

I promised her I'd get her a smaller one someday and today whilst we were at a LFS she over heard the owner talking about a Red-Tailed Black Shark and heard how they got to around the same size as a rainbowfish which we have.

She asked to see one and didn't that set her off - I had to get one. Sally the RTBS is currently being acclimatized to the Rainbow 240L tank. Good job I didn't have anything else planned, EVER

240 litres should be big enough.... and promises can really comeback and slap you in the face sometimes.....

hahaha it is currently swimming and playing with the female Betta. How things will change very quickly, Although the betta will be getting moved into another tank.

I hope the bettas will be moved, the fins will start to disappear.

Those rainbows are beautiful fish. I've never even heard of a bosemani rainbow, Or a rainbow fish in general...That doesn't grow to the size of trout that is.
