Proflora bio 160

hi all new to the forum will post a bit about my tank later, I have just install a proflora bio 160 all set up but I tried blowing in both ends of the one way valve that you have to install but nothing came out it mentions that the arrow should point to the fish tank but if I try and blow through it nothing comes out so how is the co2 going to come out???

The CO2 system will be able to output at a much higher pressure than your lungs can, it should be sufficient to work the one way valve.
