Hi!
So, a while ago I started an all girl betta tank (6 in 10 gal tank). Sadly, one is alive today.
I'm pretty sure it was due to those terrible conditions they're in at pet stores. They need a filter!
Over time the last one has gotten really swollen and bumpy. I used to think it was because she could be stealing the other's food, but now I'm sure she only gets her three pellets. I fed her boiled peas once, and I didn't notice a difference. I'm not home a lot to look at her, but I'm pretty sure she's pooping. (
) Is there something I can do? I just don't know what I'm doing wrong! The tank is cycled; it's the oldest one I own! Plus, I have a male in a 5.5 gal tank and he's doing well. I heard they could get a buildup of eggs, but I don't know what to do about that. (Maybe I should just stick to male bettas and livebearers
)
