Today I noticed a cottony white fluffy looking ball under an  anubias leaf.   I thought it was mold at first but on closer examination it was a dead rummynose covered in fluff.  Don't know what caused the death as all other fish are doing well.  My ammonia is 0, Nitrates 0 , Nitrates about 30-40.  Ph is around 7.6.  The ph right after a water change is closer to 7.0-7.2.

What could have caused this death and what is the large white fluffy depostit on it?  Was going to do a wc on Friday but maybe I should do it sooner.

I would still say mold, but the fish would have had to be dead for quite a while before you found it...

well just to be safe I did a 40% water change
