Problem Using 'enter' Button On Forum

Help please! This is driving me crazy. My enter button doesn't work when replying/creating threads on the forum (it works everywhere else). This is a nightmare for posting links/images as I have to type the post out in my email account and copy/paste. I am using Windows 8/IE 10. Can't find a lot online so any help much appreciated. Suppose I could try a different browser but I'd rather stick with what I have.

Have you installed any new plug-ins lately?

Try disconnecting the keyboard and connecting again.

Are you running Firefox with an AVG toolbar, that can cause it too?

No new plug ins, the laptop is only about a month old so I've never been able to use enter on this forum although it works on other forums I belong to. Not running Firefox either. Using Norton wonder if somehow that might be causing an issue?

Is it a Dell?

It's a Sony Vaio.

Have you got access to a keyboard you can connect to the laptop to try that?

Has it ever worked on this forum before?

Also, check the status of the keyboard in Device Manager.
