Pregnant Tiger Barb?

i think one of my tiger babrs is pregnant but she looks like she is going to pop, she is almost perfecty round and a little bigger than a quater at this point, i will try and get a pic up, but any ideas? she is so fat that it looks like her scales are comming off (doesnt look like she is missing any though)

Sounds more like she is bloated to me. Tiger barbs are very prone to over eating. Feed some peas and try then fast them for a while. Of course, pictures always help too.

sounds like it could be the pineconing associated with dropsy, in which case she's on deaths door and it's probably too late to save her. I hope I'm wrong and it's not that.

If onidrase is right and it is overeating then fasting for a few days and then giving pea to help clear out her system will help, and after that you should cut back on your feeding - once a day with one day a week where you fast them is a good routine to follow.
