one of my tetras is fatter than the others and im woundering wether i should put in a pregnancy tank to lay eggs or leave them till they hatch?
i dont know what to do?

Probably the best place to start would be to read this article, it's some information that should help with most questions regarding breeding characins (family Characidae aka most tetras):

http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/topic/330337-breeding-most-egg-scatterers/

And to clarify, with egg scattering fish (Tetra/Danio/Barb/Rasbora etc), the eggs are fertilized when the fish spawn, requiring a male to be present with the gravid (full of eggs) female (different than pregnant = full of live young). Much different than your typical livebearer (Platy/Guppy/Swordtails etc)

I say this not to sound like a snob, but getting the basic terms right will definitely help you to get the most/best/accurate advice here on the forum.
