I think she's the one that gave birth to the fry inside my Breeding case...but that was a week ago. These are he best pictures I could get, my camera isn't the best and she wouldn't stay still.

That is a balloon molly, I would say watch her for a week and if she gets any bigger, then she probably is pregnant. She looks like it. Anyways, she is a very pretty fish :D.

Thank you. Last info I heard said "Platy of some kind"
I like knowing the specifics. Makes it easier to get help.

Thanks a bunch

It's hard to say if it is a Balloon Molly...she doesn't have the typical Balloon shape everywhere, but her stomach certainly looks like one. The face doesn't though. Could you possibly get a few more pictures? Has she always been this fat? Has she ever had fry (That you can tell for certain it was her)? How long have you had her?

eh im not sure post some more pics. i dont think its a balloon molly though it doesnt look like one cept for the belly

Well, I looked at it again this morning and thought I would search for a pic of a preg. platy. I found one and it looked similar to yours. I personally haven't bred platies before (I am thinking about doing that next now :D) well, that is one VERY PREGNANT PLATY, she probably wasn't the one that gave birth, but if she was (you should be able to tell by the looks of the fry, unless there are other platies in there that look like her!!!), she is prolonging some from being born, but a week is a little long for that :D

Of course, I don't know if I'm going to be able to handle keeping the male Sunrise Guppy, considering he is a male and Livebearers are big on pro-creating.
I was not planning on breeding fish, just having a small tank for pets, so the babies and all of this are a complete and total shock!

I got them all a week ago (the babies were born the day after I got the other 3).

But now I've got a question...
What fish are compatible with my 'Molly' and my Red Wag Platy, if I decide to try and return my Sunrise?
Perhaps something a bit less into pro-creation >.>
And how would I go about taking it back? I have baggies but I don't know if those are okay...or I could use one of the plastic cases they use for Bettas...if, of course, they'll do that >.<

And then I'd have to find something to do with my Fry...either find homes or release them and let nature run it's course... I just don't want to be creul to them >.<

My tank is a 10g, too...and I was told that the molly would be fine in there, and she seems to be thus far.

Urg. I'm worried I've messed up the life of these poor little fish T.T

i'd say shes defo a balloon mollie, not long enough for a platy from my experience. i had one just like her before
