Practical Fishkeeping Mag

I used to get it every month, however it became more and more focused towards plants/marine which I'm not all that interested in so I stopped buying it. Its one of the better fishkeeping magazines from the ones I've read, and would choose PFK if I had to pick one.

Having said that theres so much information online and its accessable whenever you want it. I wouldn't get a subscription straight away, I'd buy a few copies first and see if you like the stuff thats in it - like I say some areas of fishkeeping arn't for everyone and you might find that you are actually interested in only little sections of the magazine.

does it have sections on fish like a website naming the fish, with info on the fish, how to breed the fish, how to care for the fish ect?

would rather get the mag instead coz then i could sell the gift from the subscription offer and get my money back :D

My TFH subscription was $1 for a year on earth day. They were promoting it as a way to save trees and minimize carbon footprint. Since I had just paid $4.95 for a single issue I thought it was well worth the price. The "regular" price for the digital subscription is about $10.
