When I bought my used 46 gallon bowfront aquarium, it came with 2 Korallia powerheads. I'm wondering if I should hold onto them for the 55 gallon tank I'm setting up in a few months, or just sell them. I'll be using a Marineland Magnum 350 canister filter (that also came with the 46 gallon tank!) for filtration, and plan to have mostly angelfish and tetras. Will that be enough to circulate the water, or will I need the powerheads?

Thanks for the advice!

That's good to know! A website for checking stocking levels says my filtration's fine for what I'm planning to stock.

I'm thinking 2 angels, 2 schools of tetras (not sure which yet), 2 bolivian or German rams, and 5-6 cories.

The trouble will be sticking to my list and resisting the temptation to add more!
