Powered Internal Filter Question

Hi folks, just setting up a small 20L tank for knife fish and a little fire eel, both tiny.
Took the powered internal filter apart to clean, and can't remember in which order the three way detachable filters go.
I currently have stones/loose carbon compartment at three bottom, at the inlet, then the big loose sponge, then a tight sponge which I presume to be a carbon filter.
It's been so long since I have used one of these, I have simply forgotten.

Please help..!

It's not a pico sorry, what I thought was a pico is not...
But it is just a small 20L tank.

these are all separate clip on parts that attach to the powered.
17L views and still no answer??

I don't think it matters much what order you put them in. I'm more concerned about the idea of a knife fish and a fire eel in a pico set-up; that can't be done, surely? You do know how big those species of fish get?

They are only going on temporarily. Need to cycle a bigger tank for them but can't afford parts.
Soon they will be going in my new set up for the house. Just taking them in.
Bout a month, they aren't that big.
