Powder Blue And Gold Rim Tang And Achilles Tang

hi everyone

as the title says i have got my tang only tang now so they are all going to be divided in the sump and will be added all at the one time

stock will be

4 black tangs
2 achilles tang (add more 3 more this summer)
7 yellow tangs
emperor angel ( he has to be in that tank as it is the biggest tank for him )
chevron tang

so will the powder blue be ok with the gold rim tang/will they fight it is 352g all together including the sump

i would have thought it would be hostile between the achilles and powder blue been as they have a similar body shape. i once asked on another forum out of interest what size tank would be needed for both and the said 10" absolute minimum

dang no wonder we never get achilles here in aus. theyre all going to scott133 lol. that must be one beautiful tank. got any pictures? hope your aquascape is as breathtaking as ur stock list!

the scape isnt that good all the tang just nock it over all i am worrided about is white spot i am thinking of adding

2 massive uv sterillisers
5 korellia power heads size 3x5 2x4
2 external filters
1 wet and trickal filter
sump (dont know yet )
would i be better to take out all the sand as tangs are prone to white spot

not adding any black tangs i all ready have one so he will do

i have got most of my fish in 2 tanks now so when the new tank comes for the tang thats when it will be breathtaking hopefully it will be here for this july if not september
and doing water changes 3 times a week so the plan is to have to massive tanks for all the fish 1 reef tank and 1 fish only tank and the tang tank so how it takes off and have it for july filteration going to be a problem so that will be the garage now called the filter room.

lol but you ausses get all the nicer corals and some nice fish i just buy what i think is nice and for the tank lol.

Achilles and Gold Rim's are both touchy fish.

I have a marine biologist friend who won't keep an Achilles (also his favorite fish) b/c he says they are better left in the ocean. Water can be perfect and they break out in whitespot anyway. It happened to one of his friends who has an immaculate SPS tank. It won tank of month (i believe) on ReefCentral and he keeps the water pristine. It's always touch and go w/an Achilles.

i know a powder blue and gold rim deffinatly wont tolerate each other.

ok apparently to have achilles tangs it needs to be about 3 times the size for 4 achilles tang so will just keep the one same with the black tangs they wont get on well the achiles has went for the black tang since he has been put in there so this tank isnt going to work out

so i am going to sell the folllowing

gem tang
5 yellow tangs (1 sold)
black tang
sm achilles tang (have you desided yet ben 1981)
powder blue
yellow belly regal tang (sold)
xlg purple tang (sold)

i have sold the large purple tang for £90
the lg yellow belly for £30

how much would you sell the rest of the fish for cant think of a price
then you can help me with a new fish list
