Potamogeton Gayi

Does anyone keep this plant?
If so, do you have it as a background plant or in the middle? I've seen it listed as both.

The tank I will be planting it in is 18" tall, if that helps.

I'm probably going to put it in the middle portion of the tank.

I picked up 3 bunches 2 weeks ago, and have yet to plant it. I wanted it's roots to grow out, and I've been putting off pulling up a few large swords whose roots are going wild. Basically, the tank needs an entire make-over. I'll post pics when I finish.
