Posting Pics

I've been enjoying this forum for several months; and posted plenty of pictures.  But why will some threads allow me to attach images in my replies and some not?  Tonight I tried to post two pictures in two threads, both of which I started.  I went to "More Reply Options", and one of the threads allowed me to attached an image less than 100 kb, the other did not give the option to attach image....

I always use Photobucket now because that used to happen to me.

Have you signed up with Photobucket? Flickr is good too from what I've heard. Once you're signed up you'll see an "Upload" button. Upload your pics (I also resize mine to be 500px wide) and then on the right side you'll see a "Direct Link" button. Click on it and you'll see a "Copied" message. When you come back to TFF, just above the Reply box you should see an icon that looks like a photograph. Click on this and paste, hit OK and you're good to go.

Thanks; got the image into Photobucket, copied various links to paste into TFF message but it just shows a small blue question mark in a box.....

Yay! It took me a couple of tries, too, but now it's practically second nature.
