Please do not flame me if this has been posted already but I have not seen it anywhere that I can remember.

Having struggled to get the right amount of water into the tubes for testing it dawned on me the other day that there is a simpler way.

Of I went to Boots and bought a 5ml Syringe. cost £1

Now I just suck up the required amount of water into the syringe, or a little more then squirt that into the test tube to a precise level.

I reckon this has speeded up my testing no end.

Hope someone finds this useful

what i do is fill it up hold my finger over the end and let the drops out, or fill it about 4/5 of the way and top of with a 1ml syringe
