Possible Tank Parasites? With Pic!

atm ive got what looks to be the same thing my girl is fine swimming and eating properly and still aggressive but she had lil white things like that on her wich was obviously ichy casue she was rubbing herself on the rocks so ive been dosing the tank with melafix and salt and it seams to be doing the job as she is no longer rubbing on the rocks.......
it was on her face and under her belly between her fins and a few on her fins near her gills

I am currently dosing both of my tanks with melafix, reason I am doing both as the piece of wood with the suspected parasites on has been in both tanks recently (I swap 2 logs over as they are a snail magnet which makes feeding them to my puffers soo much easier!)

As i am now dosing my tanks I have just had an awful thought....are my fish in my tropical all going to be ok with this med? (Melafix) I just read that some fish can be sensitive to some meds.

So I have -
3 Neon tetras
3 Rummy nose Tetras
1 Peppered cory
1 Schwartzi cory or Corydoras leucomelas
(sp?)
2 Bronze cory
2 red throated goby
1 oto
1 hilstream loach/spotted stonesucker/baltoid
2 male guppys
1 male platy
and loads of pond snails!

My other tank I have 3 green spotted puffers

As for the numbers of tetras etc I am aware that they do better in numbers of 6 or more, I plan to get more when this parasite stuff is sorted.
any help would be great!

Did they look like these- I have them in my 6 gallon betta tank and they whizz around real fast on the sides of tank and also on the drift wood I have in there.
