I noticed that my favourite Boesemani Ranbow’s had developed a white layer across their top lip. It was sort of dead skin that was white and slightly fluffy.
Any way I asked at my LFS and they suspected it was a fungal infection. I have been treating with eSHa 2000 - Fungus, Finrot and Bacteria Treatment for a week and things are only getting worse. One of my Sailfin Mollies has now become lethargic and one has developed white stuff around her gills. Also one of my Corydoras Julii has got a white thing stuck to his dorsal fin.

I know my mollies should be kept in brackish water but these were any early less experience purchase of mine.

My ammonia and nitrite are at zero and nitrate down at around 30.

Any thoughts or suggestions are most appreciated.

Columnaris can affect the gills, can you describe the white thing on the fin, is it a parasite or look stringy.
Anchor worm can look like a peice of nylon with a forked tail.

Def think its columnaris thanks Wilder. The Rainbow's are my newest buy and I think they must have bought it in.

This is the best pic of the cory I could get at the mo. It runs across the top of the Dorsal Fin and is almost forked at the top.

This is what anchor worm look like

Just looking into anchor worm at the mo.

Can I treat with myxazin and pimafix at the same time.

This med is strong and it wipes the bacteria colony out in your filter.
You will need to get rid of these first as they do alot of damage to a fish.

No 12 Anti Crustacean & Parasite 100ml
ANTI CRUSTACEAN PARASITE No 12 : Eliminates anchor
worm, fish lice, gill maggots and leeches.

Larger higher level parasites can be introduced into the aquarium on new fish or plants. They cause life-threatening damage and should be eradicated quickly.

Crustacean parasites are very difficult to eradicate so this treatment is powerful. Therefore, take care to carefully follow all instructions and note all warnings
