Guys,
I have a 210L tank with around 25 mixed African cichlids and they have started to get poorly.
I lost 2 red zebras and a yellow lab in four days, at forst i thought the zebras were being attacked but now know it to be fin rot. Another one of my larger fish has now started to develop a white cotton like fungus around the mouth.
In reaction to this i have done a 60% water change and used Interpet NO 8 Fungus and Fin Rot. I have also raised the tank temp to 30 degrees.
Does this sound right? Is there anything else i can do to help? My fish are really growing now and i really don't want to loose anymore.
Also since adding the med all the fish are now hanging around at the surface, is this normal?
How long will it take for the meds to work and see results?
Thanks,
a worried fish keeper!
