Popping Noises With Mouth

I am currently treating my larger Severum for Ich. He seems to be doing a little better today but has been doing funny things with his mouth, sticking it out and making popping noises. Any reason for this ?

mine make that noise when they steal my plecs wafers

That is normal, don't worry about that. All my cichlids do that. Some of my cichlids and my goldies will go to the top of the tank and bite the bubbles making a popping noise.
