poorly platy

i think my platy maybe poorly or very depressed.All he does is it in the weed facing towards the surface and does'nt move.Hes really darty when someone walks pat the tank.Hes still eating and i can see any signs of him being ill like white spot or anything.Could he just be depressed.I have a female platy,a betta and another male platy and from what ive seen they have'nt been chasing him or anything.

how long has the molly been in the tank? Is he swimming OK?

hes been in the tank about 5months.he seems to have got worse since my last post.hes got a ripped fin and isnt eating.hes really skinny looking.hes swimming ok but seems like he doesnt want to swim

the waters about 40ish degrees i think.Its safe temp according to my thermometer.I have'nt seen other fish attack him.Hes 1 of the first fish i got along with 2 other platys
