:-( I don't know how I could be such an idiot. I wasn't even thinking about my fish when I removed Steve and put him in the community tank. (He was very gentle, I had to use his tank to quarentine another fish) I totally forgot to let him acclimate first. So my cat woke me up at like 3 a.m. and I checked on the fish tank and Steve was in between a plant and was upside down. poor steve. I wish I could have bred him. Then I could still atleast have one of his sons. :-( So I will create a little picture for him.

I am really sorry to here about Steve hon, it is a mistake easily made which anyone can forget at the best of times especially when an emergency arises. Very sorry for your loss but it is a learning point to move on. Will you consider a new better when the original tank becomes available?

Yes... I am thinking about getting another crowntail or two. A friend is taking the rainbow shark so then I will get a divider and make one half of the tank for my molly fry and the other for a betta. And then I have the origonal tank. So I could get two. As soon as I figure out what to do with these tetras, I will get some crowntails. Stupid Petsmart tetras came with a disease. I don't kn0ow what to do with them.

Unfortunately youve drawn the short straw this time. We havent got Petsmart here so unsure what they're quality is like but sorry to hear on the tetras. Only thing know on those is they need a really established tank as can get all sorts of problems, what is up with them?

Aw that would be great if you could divide and get two wants all the others are sorted! Piccys if do!

I think it may be neon tetra disease. Not sure, but their colors are fading and some separated themselves from the shoal. What can I do with them? I don't think I have the heart to kill them. One is still healthy, and I don't really just want one single neon tetra. They need to be in groups I think.

Have you tried posting in the emergency section or perhaps PM Wilder who is really good at diagnosis?

I am not sure hon, not knowing much on tetras at all..I dread the day I may have to euthanise a fish but if they are suffering badly then I am going to.. I think tetras have to be in groups it may be worth taking the healthy lone one back and giving to store or someone you know as long as sure it is not carrying anything.
