yeah but how are you ment to age 20% of water over night, especially for a big tank

With buckets? I use a 30 gallon holding tank to do water changes.

Leave it over night with a heater in it, and an bubbler, so that it is oxygenated and the same temperature as the tank.

^ Depends on what is meant by a 'Big Tank'... buckets start to then become impracticle.

Anyway, this is regardless to me standing by my long-term thinking that prepping water prior to putting in a fish tank by simply standing it is a rubbish idea!

Hence the reason why I said I age my water in a holding tank.


And why would prepping water be a rubbish idea?
