Hi all. wonder if anyone could advise. I was overrun with little round snails which piggy backed in on the live plants. But then I decided to rescue a pakistani loach (called him Yo-yo) which was all alone in my lsf. He kindly ate all the little round snails. but now I am overrun with pointy snails which Yo-yo doesn't like to eat. I don't wanna add evil chemicals into my tank to kill them so is there a fish that likes to eat them?
Thanx xx

You could try sinking some cucumber either with a screwcumber or old fork then fish out when loaded with snails.

Ooo that sounds like a good idea. I have a bearded dragon so always have a supply of cucumber in :)

could they be Malaysian trumpet snails? If so they are actually your friend and not your enemy :)

They eat debris in the substrate, they eat algae and if you have sand substrate they also help by moving it around and airing it :)

they don't breed that quickly as far as I'm aware. Have a look in the invertibrates section there's a pinned topic there that show's pictures if the various snails available. It should help identify what you have :)
