i went to my LFS this morning to get a ram and 2 ottos, i also bought a bottle of black water extract as it is good for the ram...i want to quarrentine the fishes but i only have 1 quarrentine tank...so can i add the black water extract with the ottos in it???

Yes. The ottos will be fine in the extract.
