Pleco Help Losing Scales

I am curious as to why my Pleco may be losing its coloration, as it seems to be losing scales. 
 
Currently monitoring the Pleco as it seems to be eating but doesnt seem to be getting better ---- 2 days still nothing changing with the Pleco scales.... Stressed? 
 
Water parameters over past 2 days.
 
Ph. 7.8
Gh 60
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 10PPm
.
 
 
Nitrite was at dangerous levels when i lost my 1st pleco.
 
Waited 1 week before putting in another Pleco.
 
While the week was being set, i had Used Nite-Out which helps lower Nitrite levels by adding Nitro-Bacteria to help eat away at that.
 
Added pleco after 1 week of water changes as well
 
Currently 1/2 of pleco tail is without scales( or atleast coloration is Very pale compared to when i had got it at first.
 
 
 
Other Tank-mates are doing fine.
 
 
 
Help me with the pleco. I dont wanna lose my joey

I can try to get a good picture of my pleco, but i dont think ill be able to

Without a photo all we can do is guess, It could be nothing it could be serious who knows.
