Please What Could Go In 35 Litre Tank?

i have already got a 35 litre tank with 1 male betta in but i am getting another 35litre tank and would like something diffrent in there.

what do you think would be ok in there and how many?

I would do a micro community with chill and galaxy rasboras with either sparkling gourami or badis/darios. I would probably do

3 Badis - 1 Male 2 Female
6 Galaxy Rasbora
6 Chilli Rasbora
5 Cherry Shrimp

wouldn't that be a bit over stocked? We're talking about under 10G here...

Not really those rasboras barley make half an inch and are so slender they barely produce any waste the only real size of a fish in there is the badis which makes around 2 inches a bit less for the female. And the shrimp again barely create anything even less than the rasbora.

Ive got one of these arc 35s and Ive been nagging my other half to let me set it up with that set up but apartantly the lounge has enough tanks in..... Ive only got one

sorry - forgot the rasboras stay small. Always think of fish like that ending up 1" - 2"

ps turn your tank into a coffee table. Then im sure there would be space for it!

How about some serpae tetras? I have thes and they are a lovely orangey/red colour and look lovely swimming in and out of the plants. You could have a small shoal of 6 of those and a couple of African Dwarf Frogs...and maybe an apple snail or some other snail?

There are plenty of other tetras to choose from if you don't like the Serpae, though... Cardinals, Silver Tipped (I have these too), Neons, Gold neons etc

Also, sterbai cory fish stay fairly small (up to 3 inches) and Pygmy Corys are even smaller at up to 2cms. Panda Corys are tiny but can grow up to 2" = they are not very hardy though, so I'd avoid these.

A pair or trio of Tanganyikan shell-dwellers eg. Neolamprologus brevis?

A group of Filament Glassfish (Gymnochanda filamentosa) with a few Clown Killifish (Pseudepiplatys annulatus) up top?

Oh, and what about that long-time fav...male guppies? Very colourful, attractive, hardy...many variaties to choose from, too! Just don't put a female with the males cos you won't want them producing fry in such a small tank.

Hahaha looking at this thread has made me want to be sneaky and buy another 35ltr- Wills, that stocking sounds stunning

I also agree with the Clown Killifish suggestion- they are amazing looking little fish There are some really amazing other species of killifish too that stay very small which would look great.
