Please HELP!!!

When you first bought him how long did you take to acclimatize him to the tank? if he's brand new he could be suffering ph shock or somthing. You need to find out your water stats even if he is in an extablished tank;
Does his belly look very thin and/or is he eating well at all?
Can you describe any other strange symtoms or behavior?
Does his color look good or faded/pale?

Im not an expert at all on your particular typeof fish, but all fish pretty much share the same symtoms when it comes to desease an illness; my first advice is turn the tank lights off as this will help lower his stress levels and also do a small water change :thumbs: .

Tank parameters in this current tank is ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate? but low and PH is about 6.

Very careful with our new fishies that cost alot, they get about 2 hours acclimatisation, slowly emptying/adding water from bag to tank and visa versa. However the girl was also with him and she shows no weakness/illness whatsoever. He has been eating OK, the only strange behaviour hes shown is hiding lots, even in the peaceful tank he was removed from, and generally just being a sook. His colour has always been fine, and remains so. Will do water change, the lights can go off though.

Cheers Tokis.

How long has he been in the tank and with you altogether? It could just be a case of settling in to his new home, if you got him from abroad or it took a long time to get him to you and not somwhere like a nearby lfs he could just be low on energy and needing some time to settle in which is quite common and hopefully the case here :)

I've been away from the computer. We have had him for about 2 weeks. I hope you are right. I don't like losing fish, especially ones we put alot of care into. -_-
