Please help with the name of the fry

These fry appeared in my discus tank a few days back. The fish that are in my tank are discus, bosemani rainbows and cardinal tetras.
I still can't figure out who are the parents?
I manage to seperate 9 of them due to bosemani rainbows going after them.
The plan is to feed egg york for a week and switch to hikari first bites. This is my 1st batch from the 3 fish species named above. So I'll have to wait till they grow to find the lineage.

I'll wager they will be boesmani, because usually, it's the easier to breed fish that show up unexpectedly. Other indicators? My cardinal fry liked to stay low, and boesemani fry went to the surface.

your indicators are good garyE. If the rainbows are good swimmers, then they are definitely rainbows at the surface.

I bred boesemani for years, and they were excellent swimmers. Ideal for tiny floating powders too.

They grow slowly for the first bit, then have periods of explosive growth, slow down, growth...

they better be, or they'll swim to death with filters, aeration pumps and air stones.
I separated them form the tank since they are still not eating and be exhausted from swimming.
