can some one please tell me what this is ? and is it serious ?

soz if links wrong not good with comps ..

it appeared on my glowlight tetra today it is a white spot is it that disease with the same name ?

its on the end of its body, he seems ok although he is staying down the bottom of tank at the front more than normal,

will my other fish be ok ?

what should i do ?

ive read up but unsure still soz newbie ... if i add salt how much ? how often got 64 litre tank ? will it harm my 2 corydoras/catfish or my 6 guppies ?

if i turn up temp doesnt it harm catfish ?

or if i buy solution or treatment whats best and will that harm my other fish ?

soz so many questions but dont want to loose any fish or make mistake

please advise as very worried

I do not see "white spot" on your fish. What I see looks like some kind of worm-like parasite to me. Have you tried posting in the Tropical Fish Emergencies section. There are people who spend time there that are much better at disease diagnosis that we are here.
