Cut some tight up put it over the filter with a rubber band then he won't get sucked into the filter.

I'm as certain as I can be that's it wasn't a worm. Although it is still hanging there. I'll get some myxazin tomorrow for him. Do you think I should treat the other tank?
 

Thanks for all your help. I'll let you know how he gets on. To be honest, on Friday night I thought that he wouold have been dead within a couple of hours so he has definitely improved although he is still a long way from being right.

He wasn't actually getting sucked into the filter, just sucked onto it and it was as if he didn't have the strength to free himself.

Do I add both the meds at the same time or is the one above to be used if the other one doesnt work?
 
Remove the black carbon sponge in the filter if you have one, as that sponge is for removing meds out of the tank, or it will be pointless.

You could add the full dose of the bacterial med with half the dose of the parasite med, or if you don't feel safe doing that, start off with the bacterial med for now, good luck, fingers crossed.
