MY BGK fish is infected with camallanus worms.

He is been in my care for almost a year now. He is very big, and thick looking. But we have lost fish before in a different tank due to camallanus worms. And none of the treatment worked for them. (10in Oscar, and angel) Both died.

Now My BGK he is very slaggish. doesn't come out of his hiding spot much. always sleeps even when lights off.

And I know thats when he is very sick. I hoped may be someone can advice me on how to save him. Any advice would be appreciated. I don't want to kill him, i want to try and save him.

Please if anyone knows how.

Thanks.

EDIT: I also Have a Rope Fish(reed fish) in the same tank as BGK. do you think I should move and quaranteen him? or will he be alright? He was Introduced to BGK tank about 3 weeks ago.

Have you tryed an internal wormer.
Levaimsole.

Camallanus worms are contagious, so you are going to want to treat any other fish in that tank as well.
