It's already too late for all the dead fish :/
You have without a doubt added far far too many fish in one go. Your tank will now have excess ammonia and you will need to start some small 10% water changes every few hours.

Do you know what your water stats are ? Ammonia & Nitrite specifically ?

How long has your tank been up and running ?
Was your tank fully cycled ?
How did you cycle your tank?

Sorry to say, but I suggest you take the majority of those fish back unless you want to deal with further death and illness.

What kind of shop would sell you 23 fish all at once no questions asked??

i dont know my water stats but my friends dad who in to fish as a hobbie for many years said it would be ok and i did leave my water to mature for two weeks and i add some tap safe on the first day of getting it i do have two pleco and two platys and they are all quite small but i had them in before getting these ones and they were ok my tank is 16in high width 24in depth 12 in

I was with my friend when he bought the fish and the man at the shop didnt mention anything that stocking so many fish was not a good idea

:-( That's a grossly overstocked 20 Gallon tank.
I'm amazed that a shop would sell you that many fish in one go. And such a wide range of mixed fish too.

I suggest you take everything apart from the leopard danios back. The Clown Loach is unsuitable for a 20 gallon tank. I doubt that angelfish are fine in that size tank either. The glass cats should only go into a mature tank (6 months or older).

There are many nipping fish in that collection and are very unsuitable for such a small tank. I suggest you re-think your stocking list and do some research before you buy fish again.

Also get test kits for ammonia and nitrite. And only ever add fish if and when both those levels are zero and stay at zero for 2 weeks at least.

By letting your tank "stand" for 2 weeks, accomplished nothing at all I'm afraid. You either need to return all fish and do a fishless cycle (read the pinned topics) or only keep the danios and read the pinned topics on how to cycle with fish.

Best of luck.

Is this a joke...you have 77 posts what have you been posting and readin about for the past few months....

That's the spirit. :)

Honestly, it shocking that they didn't warn you about ammonia/nitrite cycle....

I would try to find another shop to buy from in future, these people don't sound like they deserve your business.
