Playing Around With Backgrounds :)

Thought I'd have a play with backgrounds and wondered what might give some texture without buying a ready made 3d background
( I will make one eventually ) then came up with this idea... it'll do for now surely?
What do you think? very simple and free since I had the camo already.

I have plain black background in my tanks, but with the planting, you can't really see them too much.
3 d backs can look good, but imo they take up quite a lot of room in the tank, & if it's planted you won't see much of it.
Plus the 3d ones are quite ecpensive, a few plants will give you depth
 
Yeah i agree cazgar, i wouldn't go for a 3d background i don't think. Just plain black (or whatever colour takes your fancy) and plant it to buggery!
 
Why do you have a picture of a mug as your background?Only joking. What's your floating plants? They look cool.

Camo looks naff in my opinion.

What's your stocking mate? Looks rather bizzare and...er....risky...
