When are they going to give birth they have both been pregnant for 31 days. I am getting worries it has been along time and i want to be prepared.

An average gestation period for platies as such will be 3-4 weeks. But again, that's just an average estimate.
Well, sometimes they do tend to hold on to the fry for a bit longer. In most cases nothing to worry about. Sometimes it might take up to 6 weeks before they´ll let go of the fry. I wouldn´t worry too much about it.
Also when a female isn't feeling too comfortable, she'll hold on to the fry as well.
