Platys wont breed!

Yeah....but they are still very tiny, and can stress the mother out. Also, I've head a lot of stories of fry escaping from those kinds of things, or not figuring out how to get into the chambers and getting eaten anyway. I personally prefer breeding tanks, or just letting them give birth in a tank and scooping fry out. But each to their own.

i prefer the breeding traps cause i usually catch the momma having birth. and plus i can never get all the fry, the next day, i'll se two more, and then one more, ect.

Yeah, well, as I said, each to their own!

I would always be too worried they would have problems, or abort, or get very stressed...but maybe I worry too much.

However, I would still never recommend those things for Swordies or Mollies. They just get way too big to be comfy in there. It would probably be okay for maculatus Platies and Guppies though.
